Rounding up to give back
Noble REMC members’ contributions through our Operation Round Up grant program continue to make huge improvements and strides in our communities. The latest disbursement awarded more than $12,000 and impacted nine organizations and projects.
The program’s mission to give back to the community wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our members. With more than 91% participating in the program, the pennies donated by rounding up your bill each month are making a big impact.
The second quarter distribution of the Operation Round Up Trust Fund included:
Living Water Lutheran Church Food Pantry, $1,500, food
Northeastern Indiana CASA, $2,000, volunteer recruitment and training
Kate’s Kart, Inc., $1,500, books for local hospitals
Youth for Christ of Northern Indiana, $1,000, East Noble Campus Life programs
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana, $1,000, site-based School Buddies programs
Pheasants Forever Northeast Indiana Chapter 182, $1,500, environmental projects and educational activities
Bear Lake Camp, $1,674, automatic external defibrillator with pediatric pads
