Congratulations to our 2025 scholarship recipients!

Graduation cap on dollars

This year’s scholarship recipients show how successful our students are across our service territory. Noble REMC is proud to be able to invest in the future of these three students who have worked hard to earn this award and others like it for their secondary education.

Congratulations to Abigail Carlson, Emily Ramsey and Silvia Venturi, who earned $1,000 scholarships from the co-op for their contributions and dedication at school and in the community!

MEET THE 2025 RECIPIENTS

Abigail Carlson from Garrett High School will attend Purdue University to earn a degree in political science. She hopes to one day work as an advocate for citizens’ needs and bring positive change to people’s lives — with the hope of eventually serving in Congress. Carlson is the daughter of Marcus and Jessica Carlson of Auburn.

Emily Ramsey from East Noble High School will be heading to Ball State University to study business administration and English with the ultimate goal of working for a major company or publishing firm. Ramsey is the daughter of Beth and John Ramsey of LaOtto.

Silvia Venturi from West Noble High School will attend Purdue University to earn an environmental science degree to become an ecologist or habitat restoration specialist and serve at a nonprofit agency working to restore and protect endangered habitats. Venturi is the daughter of Sarah Keefer Venturi and Justin Venturi of Wawaka.

To be eligible, the recipient’s parents or guardians must be members of Noble REMC. Candidates were judged anonymously based on their academic achievements, a short autobiography, and their involvement at school and in the community.
