Noble REMC Operation Round Up Grant

The Noble REMC Operation Round Up® Trust Fund is accepting grant applications until January 8 for the next grant cycle from the cooperative's charitable trust. Over eighty-five percent of Noble REMC consumers graciously allow their monthly bill to be rounded up to the next dollar. The rounded up money is placed in a charitable trust with oversight by its own volunteer board of directors.

Non-profit community based organizations in Noble, DeKalb and adjoining counties, where the electric cooperative serves, are eligible to apply. Applications are available at the Noble REMC office on 300 Weber Road in Albion or downloaded from the bottom of this page.

Noble REMC's Operation Round Up® is a community service fund that assists non-profit organization's projects in the communities in the general service area of the cooperative. Currently, Noble REMC has given back over $295,000 into local communities benefiting several organizations in their service territory.

Operation Round Up® is a nationally recognized charitable giving program unique to many of the nations leading rural electric cooperatives. Noble REMC serves over 10,000 customers in Noble, DeKalb, and six surrounding counties in northeast Indiana.

Applications are due in our office by January 8, 2009 and are available at the Noble REMC office at 300 Weber Road in Albion or right here on our website (see below). Non-profit community-based organizations in Noble, DeKalb, and adjoining counties where we serve are eligible to apply. Our bylaws prohibit issuing grants exceeding $10,000.
